Chosen as one of SAE’s Atlanta promotional models for all social media platforms. 

While enrolled I learned things such as stage set ups for concerts, and events. Signal processing, basic signal flow, ADR effects, Foley, patching, soldering, how to properly edit vocals, sequencing, composition arrangement, automation, and also how to build a business as an entrepreneur.

 Working at Patchwerk

Shortly after graduating SAE, I landed a 6-month internship with Atlanta’s own commercial recording studio Patchwerk. My title was staff assistant. Details of my daily responsibilities included assisting head engineers during sessions, prepping control rooms (mics, stands, keyboards, external equipment), maintaining organization of studio (monitored inventory stock, cleaned & sanitized all areas of studio, food runs), recorded local artists, and providing “rough mixes” for references. I also was responsible for editing vocals on pre-mixes for staffed engineers, observing and “sitting in” on active recording sessions for educational purposes. 

Some sessions observed include artists such as Zaytoven, Bangladesh, Lil Boosie, Waka Flocka, Love & Hip Hop ATL, YFN Lucci and a plethora of local artists. 

What I learned from Patchwerk was proper studio etiquette, increased knowledge of signal flow, outboard gear, thorough patching, how to properly track vocals, and signal to noise ratio.

Jingles 

One of the jobs I’ve had over time was driving for a major ride sharing company, during these times I would always hear jingle commercials for local personal injury companies on the radio. With my creative background, coupled with my new found knowledge on the technical side I was inspired to create jingles for these companies. These 2 jingles you hear were composed, arranged, sang, and engineered by myself. I completed these jingles through the use of Patchwerk recording equipment during my internship there. Creating jingles has helped me learn how to arrange shorter musical compositions, and overall enhance my creativity. 

This is just another representation of how engineering has changed my life!

I was invited to sing a cover of "Say Yes" along with a few of my originals for Jay Vincent former professional basketball player for Los Angeles Lakers. Here's a clip of my rehearsal with the back-up keyboard player for 496 west. As you can tell he was very impressed lol.

2022 Jazz Fest. Lansing based legendary Jazz group aded me asa featured singer in their lineup for the 2022 Smooth Jazz fest. I really enjoyed myself and it was the first time i performed the song, "My Heart" with a live band.

Mermaid Vibes

For those that don't know I love color and being expressive not only musically but just within my own personal style. With that being said I went for a new look and I absolutely LOVE it! I'm feeling like a mermaid swimming free and bringing positive energy and vibes to the world.

Europe Tour

I had the opportunity to tour in Europe for 2 months at the end of 2017. I traveled with a gospel group called “The Glory Gospel Singers”. Throughout the course of our tour, we traveled to 3 different countries, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Germany. Every day was a different city. The theme of the tour consisted of popular Christmas songs, and inspirational gospel songs. 

The article and group picture displayed was written by a local Switzerland newspaper, detailing our group’s performance that night. The performance video shown is of myself leading America’s popular song “Oh Happy Day”. My experience was amazing, which is why I made a short video capturing my environment and for overall promotional use. I grew a lot from this tour, specifically with performing. I was able to enhance my vocal technique, learn adequate vocal projection, and proper stage presence. 

"I think there is no growth without risk. Risk has caused me to feel uncomfortable, without a doubt having to face some of the hardest challenges of my life. But risk also brought out my greatest strengths. Ones I never would have found if not pushed to my limit of capability. Risks helped me discover my passion for writing jingles. I am still learning my capabilities to this day."

I do miss performing and I often just feel like singing so as they say there is nothing to it but to do it. Here I am singing a cover of Giveon's "Heartbreak Anniversary.
